Want to know about me or the work we do?
Let's get in touch!
Dear Brave Friends ~
As an Equine-Assisted Professional, what if I had not slowed down, but continued to push through, working hard without addressing the pain, grief, and trauma of my own?
I'd still be left with haunting feelings of unworthiness, vulnerability, weakness, imperfection....
The past few years since the Covid-19 pandemic have been rough for me. How about you? Honestly, I've had some health challenges that have "thrown me for a loop"! This includes getting unceremoniously "kicked in the butt" (literally and figuratively) from Superman, one of our therapy horses. This was my fault for not paying closer attention to the herd dynamics at dinner time... ouch. (I'm much better now, by the way).
Because I've allowed myself to slow down, feel the pain, experience the loss, grief, and sorrows of life, I am prepared
to bring this resilience project to light! I've walked the walk, not just talked the talk - of recovery from compassion fatigue, vicarious traumatization, and burnout.
Frankly, emotional and physical pain, heartache, and overwhelm have been my professors of recent, and these teachers have shaped me into a stronger individual. Because of going through the fires of life, I am more equipped to lead other healers.
Now is my time. Now is your time. Now is OUR TIME to live BRAVE, Resilient Lives!
It's time to rewrite our Mission, Purpose, Values, and Promise in life.
My mission is to educate and inspire others in the art of self-compassion, self-care, and BRAVE resilience.
- Purpose: Be a conduit to bring joy and purpose into individuals whose work involves caring for others.
- Values: Authenticity, bravery, perseverance, resilience.
- Promise: Be a trail guide for helpers on the road to BRAVE resilience.
When we support others who have difficulty advocating for themselves, we are doing the good work.
Caring for others, being a voice for the voiceless, an
advocate for the nameless, and a guide for the weak, is part of my WHY.
You're here for a reason. If you're bone-tired, exhausted, and ready to quit - you're in the right place!
Sometimes when at our lowest point, some of the most valuable work is being done, leading us to a better view.
If this message has resonated with you, let's connect!
In Brave Resilience,
Liz
